Application Process
If you are interested in applying you will first need to fill in an application. Overlymusical has two interns at one time. We start a new intern every three months. This allows there to be a senior and a junior intern. This allows for some intern mentoring. You may turn in an application at any time of the year. See link above to download the application. If you have trouble downloading this please e-mail to receive an application (overlymusical@gmail.com) Those qualified will be selected to have a interview where the applicant will:
1. Demonstrate their guitar, piano, and voice skills to the internship director by playing and singing two songs; one on guitar and one on piano
2. Lead a musical improvisation with the internship director acting as your client (who may not have a lot of music experience) you may do this on the piano, guitar, or any percussion instrument.

The director will give the candidates an interview preparation sheet which will specify the musical skills needed to be demonstrated approximately one week before the interview.
