Music Train Flyer and my Background

My husband Devin has been so supportive of the idea of me starting a preschool. He found this great train and added the music notes. I want to publicly let him know how much I appreciate his time and support. I’m excited to start advertising my new school, Music Train Preschool. I will be putting up flyer’s up this week.

So you know about my experience…

I received my bachelors degree at Utah State University in December of 2000 in Music Therapy. Before graduation I completed a six month clinical internship at Sunshine Terrace in Logan, Utah, working with elderly, dementia, Alzheimer, brain trauma, and developmentally delayed clients. I most recently resigned as the Clinical Training Coordinator at UtahState where she oversaw the clinical experience for the USU Music Therapy Program. I have supervised music therapy students in various facilities serving at-risk youth such as Youthtrack-Utah, Family Institute of Northern Utah, Avalon Hills, and the Cache County Jail. I have also worked on and off as an adjunct faculty member of UtahStateUniversity, working as a music therapy practicum field supervisor with USU music therapy students assigned to elementary and middle school special educational settings. I have four children who I enjoy very much. Besides making music and spending time with my family, I love to read, garden and run just for fun. I look forward to using my music therapy skills to create a fun and nurturing environment where learning just happens.
